With over 30 years of involvement in the health field, Dr. Victor T. Korwitts specializes in the treatment of structural, neurological and biochemical imbalances. A 1973 graduate of the National College of Chiropractic, Dr. Korwitts has done extensive post-graduate work, including 600 hours in acupuncture. After practicing for two years in the city of Chicago, he has been director of his own Downers Grove Chiropractic center for over 25 years.
Actively involved in sports and fitness, Dr. Korwitts has competed in many in-line skating events as well as triathlons. First hand experience as an athlete has provided even more in-depth appreciation for body structure and function. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Dr. Korwitts is married and has three grown children.
"Our philosophy of practice requires that the doctor and patient form a team and become PARTNERS IN HEALTH. All healing takes place within. No doctor ever heals a patient. The doctor simply calls upon a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to encourage the body through proper nerve balance and appropriate nutritional resources. It's up to the patient to maintain a health-conducive attitude while taking steps toward greater well-being on an everyday basis. This interactive combination will bring about realization of our ultimate mutual goal-- the highest quality health possible for all involved."
