Tour of the Center

The Center was designed to provide comfort and convenience for both patients and staff alike. A bright, cheery reception area offers greeting space where patients can engage in friendly interchange with assistants. Colorful walls and meaningful artwork enhance the hallways and rooms lending pleasing visual aesthetics to the overall healing environment. It was well-known in ancient times that color vibration greatly affects the human energy field. Use of color is just one of many ways that the Center blends ancient wisdom with cutting edge technology.

Five chiropractic treatment rooms assure excellent patient flow. The goal at Korwitts Chiropractic Center is to offer efficient service while providing more than adequate attention to every patient's needs during each visit. Therapeutic ultrasound therapy is available in all of the treatment rooms so that a chiropractic adjustment can be complemented with therapy in the same space. Specialized chiropractic tables serve a variety of purposes depending on the type of manipulation required.

Three special rooms are available for extended therapies such as acupuncture and electro-stimulation. Dimmed lighting and meditative music piped to the patient through earphones establish relaxing, nurturing mood.

During the first visit, new patients provide the doctor with an extensive health history in the center's consultation room. This is a time for the individual to inform the doctor of current concerns, family health patterns and any other information that will provide a background for successful treatment. This room is also used for the presentation of educational videos, and for a unique diagnostic technology called Voice BioAnalysis. Once a patient returns for a second visit, a report of findings is offered to relay the course of treatment.

Korwitts Chiropractic Center has full x-ray capabilities on-site. This means a patient can be x-rayed during the process of an exam, and the results of the x-rays can be in the doctor's hands almost immediately. Full-spine x-rays are taken with a person standing, offering a picture that reveals the position of the spine during normal everyday function. Special views of the neck or extremities provide added focus on special problem areas.

The Center has two massage rooms, each out-fitted with low lighting, soothing music and comfortable massage tables. Essential oils, hot stones and heated towels complement some of the specialized techniques.

Insurance needs are managed in the Center's administrative office. An assistant is employed exclusively to deal with insurance claims and billing, assuring that the practical side of the healthcare process runs smoothly for everyone.
